A look at repairs we've handled

Every home is different, but the same problems show up again and again. Here are a few of the jobs our Austin technicians see most — and how we approach them.

We don't guess at parts and hope. Each visit starts with a real diagnosis, so the fix addresses the cause instead of the symptom. That's why most of the appliances below were back in service the same day — and why they stayed fixed.

Common jobs, done right

Refrigerator that stopped cooling

A failed evaporator fan left the fresh-food side warm. New fan, cleaned coils, verified temperatures — running the same afternoon.

Washer that wouldn't drain

A sock had worked past the drum and lodged in the pump. Cleared the blockage, tested a full cycle, no parts needed.

Oven that wouldn't hold temperature

A worn bake element and a drifting sensor threw off every recipe. Replaced both and recalibrated to within a few degrees.

Dishwasher leaking under the cabinet

A cracked fill hose was the culprit, not the door seal everyone suspects. Swapped the hose from the truck and dried the base.
